Matt's CV (summary)
Matt has over 12 years experience in the IT industry, his last full time position being with digitalbrain.com as part of their technical development team. He wrote Apache modules in C++ (interfacing with MySQL) and CGI scripts in Perl. HTML and JavaScript are generated "on the fly" by the back-end code. The result is a state of the art Virtual Learning Environment, which pushes the boundaries of what users can expect to be delivered through a web browser.
He also developed a set of interactive learning tools for use in the classroom on whiteboard technology. The tools were developed for the Windows platform using the Win32 API.
More recently he was commissioned by digitalbrain to convert the large C++ code base into a java servlet, thereby increasing maintenance and development efficiency.
He's also worked on online computer games (This Is Football Online, a Sony game for the PlayStation 2) and PHP web sites (such as harleymedical.co.uk), and done HTML and CSS work for companies such as MTV, EA Games and the BBC.
